Graduation season is a time of celebration and anticipation, as young graduates prepare to embark on new adventures. Recently, we had the pleasure of adding a sweet touch to a high school graduation party for a bright young graduate who will be attending Indiana University (IU) in the fall. This event was particularly special for us at Truly Scrumptious Candy & Dessert Bars as it marked our second graduation party setup ever, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome!
Setting the Scene: IU Pride Everywhere
The party was a vibrant celebration of the graduate's achievements and future journey. To create a festive atmosphere that screamed school spirit, we incorporated Indiana University's iconic red and white colors into every element of the candy table.
Show-stopping Balloons by High Haven Balloons
Our setup was beautifully complemented by High Haven Balloons, who crafted two stunning balloon stands. These stands were adorned with handmade red and white fringe and topped with large balloons featuring the IU decal. The balloons added height and excitement to the display, perfectly capturing the celebratory mood of the event.
Delicious Custom Cupcakes by Cake by Jason
No celebration is complete without cake, and Cake by Jason truly outdid themselves. They created custom cupcakes decorated with the IU logo, which not only looked fantastic but tasted divine. These cupcakes were a huge hit, and guests couldn't get enough of them.
A Candy Lover's Dream
The centerpiece of our setup was the candy table, which featured an array of red and white themed sweets. We carefully selected candies that not only matched the color scheme but also catered to a variety of tastes. The candy selection included:
Red Licorice: A classic favorite, perfect for guests of all ages.
M&M's: Custom red and white M&M's added a fun and colorful touch.
Swedish Fish: These chewy delights were a crowd favorite.
Kit Kats: Individually wrapped for easy grabbing and enjoying.

For this IU-themed party, we enjoyed incorporating school colors and logos into our designs, creating a cohesive and festive atmosphere.
