Boho Baby 🌼

When I get to work with repeat clients it seriously makes my heart so happy. For one, I feel so incredibly honored that I get to be a part of so many pivotal and really special moments in people's lives. You can't get more personal than someone's wedding or baby shower.

So when I got the DM from my past bride Nicole that her mother would be reaching out soon because she was expecting—I was literally over the moon. This was a few years ago now, but I’ve been meaning to share the details because this one still stands out as such a sweet and stylish day. Let’s dive in and shout out some of my all-time FAVORITE sweet vendors to work with...

It was really important for me to mesh the baby and the boho together in a way that let both vibes shine while still feeling cohesive. It couldn’t be too babyish and it couldn’t scream all boho. To marry the two, I went straight to my girl Erika at The Savory Soiree. Erika is a master at unique, one-of-a-kind cookie designs that are literally mini works of art. The detail in each cookie is impeccable and her creativity is off the charts. Honestly, I just need to post the pictures because they speak for themselves.

The next vendor who literally came to save the day was Andrea at Sweet Caroline Confections. Truth be told, I ordered late—like, REALLY late—and she and her team still pulled through with the most boho-perfect sparkle lollipops I’ve ever seen!

I had the pleasure of creating a dessert spread for Nicole & Ray's Eastern Shore wedding back in 2020 (side note: an image from that day might still be my biggest Pinterest performer!). Nicole has amazing taste and a great eye for color and theme, so I wasn’t surprised when she told me they were expecting a baby girl and that the shower would be both adorable and chic. In came the #bohobaby theme with a soft color palette of peach, gold, and white.

Last but definitely not least, shoutout to the team at Starry Night Bakery who delivered the mini desserts and the cake. Fun fact—we brought back the couple’s wedding cake flavors for the baby shower, which made it feel like such a full-circle moment. I decorated the naked cake with fresh flowers to give it that boho touch, and it ended up being the perfect centerpiece.

All in all, this day was a total joy. Like I said, I LOVE working with repeat clients—it creates such a sweet bond and makes these moments feel even more personal.

Want to recreate your own boho baby shower vibes? I’ve rounded up everything you need to DIY your own dreamy dessert table and decor with boho flair! You can find it all on my Amazon storefront and I’ve also put together a Benable list filled with more inspiration and easy-to-shop links. Whether you're planning your own shower or helping a friend, you’ll find some goodies in there.

Thanks again to my talented friends in the sugar world. Stay sweet, my friends!
